JSCC is composed of the following types of members.
| Regular Member | Any person who is interested in coordination chemistry and agrees to the purpose of the society. |
| Honorary Member | Any researcher who has made contributions to promote advances in coordination chemistry in Japan and who is recommended by the Council, approved at the General meeting. |
| Student Member | Any student of graduate school, university or equivalent school who is interested in coordination chemistry and agrees to the purpose of the society. |
| Corporate Member | Any corporation which agrees to the purpose of the society. |
Membership fees per year (April 1 - March 31, next year)
