2010環太平洋国際化学会議のシンポジウムのご案内
環太平洋国際化学会議(PACIFICHEM2010)におきまして、錯体化学関連の
シンポジウム" Syntheses and Applications of Metal-Organic
Frameworks(# 97)”を下記の要項で開催致します。奮って発表申し込みください。
1.Oral session:12月15日~ 16日
2.Poster session:5月に日程は案内されます
3.場所: Hilton Hawaiian Village
4.趣旨と内容: The purpose of the symposium is to discuss
progress and perspectives of metal-organic frameworks,
which are constructed from metal ions or metal clusters as
connectors and ligands as linkers, with respect to their
new structures, reactions, properties, and applications.
The area has attracted much attention of scientists
involving a wide spectrum of chemistry including inorganic,
organic, organometallic, materials, and physical chemistry
as well as nano chemistry. In particular, scientists have
found that metal-organic frameworks show properties that
can be applied in the development of next generation
materials and have developed new coordination chemistry
and materials chemistry.
The topics are listed below,
(1) Framework design and synthesis
(2) Properties of micro- and meso-porous frameworks
(3) Theoretical study of coordination space
(4) Storage/separation of gases
(5) Other Applications (catalysis, sensors, magnetic
materials, and optical materials)
Each of these sessions will include invited speakers
to provide the necessary background for scientists entering
the field (the tutorial aspect) and general contributed
speakers. The poster sessions will be held in the evening,
to provide additional opportunities for presentation of
recent research results and a social context where people
may develop contacts with the other members of the materials
community and coordination chemistry community.
We expect that the presentations of fundamental
principles and cutting-edge researches will provide the
necessary forum to encourage new scientists.
